What documentation do I need?

For travel on domestic routes or within the European Union, you must carry your pet’s boarding card and its valid health/vaccination record.

If you are traveling to Morocco, you must carry the documentation required by the European Union and the Kingdom of Morocco.

If you wish to travel to Algeria with your pet, additional documentation is required.

Documentation:

  • Passport or zoosanitary certificate of origin according to REGULATION 577/2013

  • Identification with microchip

  • Valid rabies vaccination

  • Rabies antibody test (from countries not on the list in REGULATION 577/2013), sample taken at least 30 days after vaccination and at least three months before travel / titer > 0.5 IU/ml

  • Serology will not be renewed if re-vaccinated during the validity period. The three-month rule does not apply for reintroduction of a pet with a favorable antibody test.

  • The vaccine cannot be administered before identification or before the pet is three months old.
