What documentation should I present to verify the resident discount?

All adult passengers must present a valid Residence Certificate and ID to apply this discount.
If the ferry company is integrated with the Ministry of Transport’s SARA telematic system, it can verify whether you, as an EU resident in the Balearic Islands, Ceuta, or Melilla, meet the requirements for the resident discount.

  • If verification is positive, you can check in online and only need to show a valid original ID at boarding: ID card (Spanish citizens, except children under 14) or NIE/Passport (EU foreign citizens).

  • Residents under one year of age do not need to present the residence certificate.

  • If verification is negative, you must collect your boarding pass at the ticket office presenting a valid original Residence Certificate: for Spanish citizens, and for EU foreign citizens also the EU Citizen Registration Certificate. Additionally, a valid original ID must be presented: ID card (Spanish citizens, except children under 14) or ID/Passport of your country (EU foreign citizens).
